Master Shen Wu
HawaiiMana is proud to have the great Master Shen Wu associated with our company. Regarded as one of China's Master Healers, Master Wu is gifted with centuries of Qi Gong healing skills and herbal medicinal knowledge passed down through a long line of tradition Chinese healers. Famous throughout China and Asia, Master Shen Wu has been the subject of countless news features documenting the healing success he achieves through the ancient art of healing Qi Gong, herbal remedies and now musical Qi Gong.
Born into a Physician's family and descendent of renown natural healers, it was not until age eight that he became aware of his special healing gift. Upon inheriting his family's centuries-old historical herbal formulas, medicinal records and ancient scrolls, he absorbed himself in the study of ancient Chinese medicine literature. He has been able to revive and even advance the therapy used and enjoyed only by royal families some 3,000 years ago. The science was thought to have long vanished with the end of the Chinese dynasties, but his miraculous accomplishments have caused a renewed interest in Qi Gong. His healing performances are sold out a year in advance throughout Asia and he is currently a special guest of the Chinese government to continual the revival of Qi Gong healing throughout various provinces. After helping numerous patients in China, Master Wu has helped many patients in USA through his frequent seminars conducted in different states for the last few years. He has helped many patients with terminal diseases and chronic conditions. Not only the suffering and pain was reduced and quality of life improved, but further spread of the disease was stopped and even reverted in many cases. Dr. Neil Finkler, M.D. of ORMC who specializes in oncology, believes much benefit can accrue by the combination of this ancient therapy with modern medical technology. Master Wu is the president of the Advance Qi Gong Science Center, director of Traditional Chinese Medical Institute and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
About Qi Gong: In Chinese "Qi" means energy and "Gong" means exercise. Qi Gong is based on a series of exercises that increase the flow of vital energy in the body by stimulating and balancing the flow of the Qi meridians. Meridians are channels for the movement of Qi within the human body that connect internal organs to other parts of the body. Through Qi Gong exercises, treatments, music and specific herbal formulas, the flow of inner energy is improved and enhances the body's ability to heal itself, resist colds and flu and daily stress.
