Gunnar Peterson

Gunnar's dynamic approach and his devotion to pursuing and communicating only the most credible and effective fitness information have resulted in several corporate partnerships and business opportunities. Gunnar currently enjoys relationships with Adidas, The Gatorade Company for Propel and Clif Bar, Inc. He has partnered with Guthy-Renker to produce an infomercial for "Core Secrets," a fitness system he developed featuring full-body workouts that focus on strengthening the core of the body using stability balls and other easy-to-access pieces of exercise equipment. His book, G-Force , will be released in January 2005 by Regan Books (a division of Harper Collins). And, through his own fitness product development company, Outside Shot, Gunnar has created The Bottom Line™, a total body exercise machine, The RAC, an accessory that incorporates weighted upper body work with Spinning, and Hoop Hands, a basketball-specific resistance training aid.

Gunnar is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American Council on Exercise. He is a graduate of Duke University. He has been a contributing editor for Glamour magazine, has a recurring feature in L.A Confidential magazine, and he is regularly featured in Allure, Elle, In Style, In Touch, Men's Health, and others. Gunnar frequently appears on The Best Damn Sports Show Period, on VH1's Rock Bodies series, and on Fit TV.

Gunnar's clients include film and television celebrities as well as professional athletes from the NBA, NHL, USTA and boxing. He also works with everyday people who want to make a change. Many of Gunnar's clients train with him year-round as he works to keep them challenged while undulating their training to minimize potential plateaus, both mental and physical. He is more than their personal trainer - Gunnar is a lifestyle.
